Club Radio Norway Privacy Policy
and GDPR Terms
On May 25th 2018 new privacy laws came into effect within the EU known as GDPR.
In compliance with the rules of GDPR, we need to clarify which services we offer and how we use data
collecting technologies. This document shall represent our commitment to upholding these laws.
Section 1. General Data Collecting Disclaimer:
Club Radio Norway does not aim to collect personal information from you as a user when connecting to listen to
our online radio station. Though there are mechanisms which allow us to see how many people are listening at a
given time, and which registers your IP address for that purpose, these mechanisms will be explained for you in
Section 2 and Section 3 in more detail.
When connecting to our radio stream, your IP address will be sent to our radio service provider in order for us to
track listening trends and provide licensing bodies with royalty reports. Once our service provider receives your
IP it is immediately anonymised, deleted and becomes untraceable. This data is never sold on or passed to
other companies.
The foregoing applies to all device configurations and platforms.
Section 2. Data Collecting For Apple / iOS Devices:
The Club Radio Norway iOS App does not collect any user data when installed or launched on your device.
Section 3. Data Collecting For Android Devices:
Apps for Android also do not collect any personal data, however may monitor other Apps on a user's device in
order to control the audio. E.g. When a connected Android App is launched on a device, it will continually
monitor the 'state' of the Phone App (Idle, Incoming Call, In call, Call ended).

This is so the audio can pause if the user receives or makes a phone call.
The App does NOT record audio or collect phone numbers.
The App will also require access to the users local storage.
This is in order to store your App's configuration (colours and images) on the device.

Our app, website and livestream are meant to be safe places to listen to some great music from up and coming
talent, and also from established talents. We aim to be as transparent as possible and helpful in getting
everyone a safe and enjoyable listening experience.
